Join the 2nd Cultural Property Protection Summer School in Cyprus, a unique learning experience organised within the EU-funded REVITALISER project. This intensive programme is designed for MSc and PhD students, researchers, heritage professionals, surveyors, archaeologists, architects, criminologists, and conservation experts who wish to deepen their skills in reality-based surveying, geospatial technologies, remote sensing, criminology, and the legal frameworks underpinning cultural heritage protection.
Drawing on the interdisciplinary expertise of the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, Maastricht University, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and Fondazione Bruno Kessler, the summer school combines high-quality academic content with hands-on experience.
The 2nd REVITALISER Summer School is also supported and co-organised by 3D-4CH - Online Competence Centre in 3D for Cultural Heritage. As part of this support, 3D-4CH will cover the registration fees for two selected professionals. Applicants interested in being considered for this opportunity are invited to indicate it in the registration form.
Participants will engage in both theoretical sessions and practical activities covering:
- Multiscale surveying and data acquisition techniques
- Remote Sensing and AI-based analysis workflows
- Cultural property law and criminological approaches to heritage crime
Fieldwork will be conducted in teams under expert guidance. Each group will develop a mini project, to be presented and evaluated on the final day of the programme.
Participants must bring a laptop with mid-to-high performance capabilities and, if possible, a digital camera. All other equipment and software will be provided by the organisers.
Don't miss this opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, heritage, and security, and to collaborate with leading institutions in the field.
