In mid-July 2025, REVITALISER was presented at the second edition of the Summer School on Cultural Heritage, held at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. The three-day school brought together more than 30 international researchers from five European countries, working at the intersection of archaeology, photogrammetry, geomatics and Cultural Property Protection.
REVITALISER was introduced to the audience as an example of how Twinning projects can connect Earth Observation, Artificial Intelligence and policy expertise around the safeguarding of archaeological sites in the EMMENA region. The exchange opened concrete opportunities to align REVITALISER with other ongoing initiatives across the European cultural heritage community.
